Ghaziabad Holds Annual Kavi Sammelan 2017, Charitable Foundation Awards 2017

H.P. Shastri Charitable Foundation Awards were presented at the 2017 Kavi Sammelan held in Ghaziabad, India at the Hindi Bhawan. More than 300 people attended the program. The chief guest of the occasion was former Deputy Prime Minister of India, and senior BJP leader Mr. LK Advani. Mr. Advani inaugurated two books of noted poet Dr Vishnu Saxena. Numerous famous poets performed at the function, as well as a performance from standup comedian Mr. Surendra Sharma. On this occasion, President of Ghaziabad Lok Parishad Mr. Dinesh Goyal, General secretary Mr. Himanshu Love and elderly poet Mr. Krishan Mitra were also present. The winners of the 2017 H.P. Shastri Charitable Foundation Awards are Ms. Kirti Kale and Mr. Mehkar Singh. They both received award recognition certificates (which are below) . Attending this years Kavi Sammelan from the USA was Mr. and Mrs. Jitender Kumar and Geeta Sharma and Mr. and Mrs. Subhash and Shakuntla Sharma .
